Hello! I’m an African Fire Skink, and I arrived at J&R Aquatic Animal Rescue on 8/27/24 from a distributor. They said I wasn’t “perfect” enough for a pet store because of my missing toes, but I think it just adds to my unique charm! 🌟

My vibrant, fiery red and orange scales make me a standout despite my missing toes! 🦎
I’m known for my love of burrowing and exploring.
I’m a hardy, resilient skink and make a great companion for reptile enthusiasts of all levels. 💪

🌿 Fire Skink Care:
I need a well-planted enclosure with plenty of places to dig and hide.
A warm basking area and high humidity will keep me happy and healthy.
I enjoy a diet of live insects like crickets and mealworms. Delicious! 🪳
 
I may not have all my toes, but I’ve got plenty of personality and a lot of love to give! Ready to take me home? 🦎❤️
