After gliding into our care on June 15, 2024, and finding his forever home that October, Batman has made his heroic return to J&R Aquatic Animal Rescue. He was brought back to us on May 23, 2025, due to a power outage that left his previous home without the heat he needs to thrive.
But don’t worry—Batman is still bold, still beautiful, and still ready to save the day (or at least your reptile room)! 🦇💛

📏 Size: Around 7–10 inches full-grown
🌡️ Temps:
– Basking surface: 94–97°F
– Warm hide: 90–92°F
– Cool side: 70–77°F
💡 Lighting: Low-level UVB helps him thrive (Arcadia ShadeDweller or ReptiSun 5.0 T5 recommended)
🏠 Housing: 36” x 18” x 18” enclosure with hides, basking rocks, and a humid hide
💧 Humidity: 30–40% ambient, 70–80% in the humid hide for shedding
🦗 Diet: 100% insectivore—crickets, dubia roaches, silkworms, mealworms, hornworms, and more! Insects should be dusted with calcium and multivitamin supplements
