Morticia the African Grey

Morticia, Morty came to JRAAR on 4/5/25 at the Exotic Pet Surrender Event in Kimberly after her owner passed away.
 
Morty only likes men and can be aggressive towards women.
 
Morty like fruits and vegetables and destroying cardboard.
 
Morty loves music and is a good talker. She also gets along with dogs, cats, and other birds.
 
She was hatched in 2004
 
She was to the vet on 4/10/25 and they said, “Morticia- Overall looks pretty normal on exam. It looks like feather plucking has been a long-termissue for her. We could always recheck her bloodwork or see how she does with some additionalenrichment. I would also rec frequent access to a bath or shower as she's pretty dusty.We are fine with managing Morty with diet and enrichment.“
 
Those interested in adopting should be non-smokers, have written permission from a landlord if needed, and make at least 2 appointments to meet and interact with her.
Her original cage is also available for purchase and she comes with all of her toys.
