Albuquerque came to J&R Aquatic Animal Rescue on 2/12/26 from the New Mexico Wildlife Center after being found wandering around town. Since this species is not native to New Mexico, they were sent here to find a proper home.
 
Red-eared sliders are active turtles that need a large aquatic setup, strong filtration, and a basking area with heat and UVB lighting.
