🐍🏹 Arrow the Kingsnake 🏹🐍

Arrow came to J&R Aquatic Animal Rescue on 5/2/26 at the Exotic Pet Surrender Event in Rhinelander after their owner, who originally got them at Petco, moved and could not take them along. Now Arrow is ready to start a new chapter with a family that can provide a lifelong home.
Arrow is about 3 feet long and is eating frozen/thawed large mice consistently. Kingsnakes are known for being active, curious, and hardy reptiles. They enjoy exploring their enclosure and are often out and about, making them fun snakes to observe.
 
🟢 Quick Care Tips:
• Adult size: 3–5 feet
• Lifespan: 15–25 years
• Enclosure: At least a 4' x 2' x 2' enclosure
• Warm side: 84–88°F
• Cool side: 72–78°F
• Humidity: 40–60%
• Diet: Frozen/thawed rodents every 10–14 days
• Provide multiple hides, climbing branches, and plenty of enrichment
 
Kingsnakes are excellent escape artists, so a secure enclosure is a must! With proper care, Arrow has many happy years ahead and could make a wonderful companion for both newer and experienced reptile keepers.
