Yellow Belly Sliders are aquatic turtles that grow much larger than many people expect. They need proper space, clean water, and the right lighting to stay healthy. With good care, they can live for many years.

• Adult size: 8–13 inches
• Lifespan: 20–30+ years
• Tank size: 75–125+ gallons as adults
• Water temp: 75–80°F
• Basking spot: 90–95°F
• UVB lighting is required
• Diet: Pellets, leafy greens, and protein
 
Turtles are a long-term commitment and need strong filtration, a basking area, and regular care.
