This Dimerius Cichlid was dropped off at our Exotic Pet Surrender Event on 1/10/25 after their owner decided to change up their fish tank setup. Now this beautiful fish is looking for a new home with the right environment.
 
Dimerius Cichlids are active and can be semi-aggressive, especially with other cichlids. They do best in larger tanks with plenty of hiding spots and strong filtration.

• Adult size: 6–8 inches
• Tank size: 75+ gallons
• Water temp: 75–82°F
• pH: 7.0–8.0
• Diet: High-quality cichlid pellets, frozen foods, and occasional treats
• Provide rocks and décor for territory
These fish are not community tank beginners. They need space, clean water, and careful tank mate choices.
