Emerald Crab
Emerald Crab 🦀
Emerald Crabs are popular in reef aquariums because they help clean up algae, including troublesome bubble algae. They will also eat leftover meaty foods around the tank, making them a helpful member of many cleanup crews.
While they are generally considered reef-safe, it is important to know that if they are not fed enough, they may nip at coral polyps or go after very small fish. Keeping them well fed helps prevent problems.
Emerald Crabs do best in stable saltwater aquariums with plenty of rockwork and hiding places. They are fun to watch as they climb through the tank searching for food.
We would love to see this little crab finally find a great marine home.
