Flower Shrimp 🦐🌸

Also known as a Bamboo Shrimp, these fascinating freshwater shrimp are very different from the little shrimp you may normally see in an aquarium. Instead of picking food off the bottom, they use special fan-shaped hands to catch tiny pieces of food floating through the water. Watching them sit in the current with their fans spread wide is pretty amazing!
 
Flower Shrimp are peaceful and do best in a well-established aquarium with clean water and a gentle-to-moderate current that carries food their way.
