This Green Terror was surrendered to J&R Aquatic Animal Rescue on 1/15/26 after their owner stopped by unannounced and said they were too busy to care for them anymore. Now this beautiful fish is looking for a new home with someone who has the time and proper setup.
 
Green Terrors are large, colorful South American cichlids. They are known for their bright green and blue colors and bold personality. They can be territorial, so they need space and the right tank mates.

• Adult size: 8–12 inches
• Tank size: 75–100+ gallons
• Water temp: 74–80°F
• pH: 6.5–7.5
• Diet: Cichlid pellets, frozen foods, and occasional treats
• Provide rocks and hiding spots
 
These fish are active and intelligent, but they are best for keepers with some aquarium experience. With good care, they can live for many years.
