Mehen was surrendered to J&R Aquatic Animal Rescue on 5/1/26 after their owner, who got them through Facebook, said they were a picky eater and had trouble keeping the enclosure humid enough. Thankfully, Mehen is now thriving in our care and is ready to find a forever home.
 
Mehen is about 3 feet long and is eating frozen/thawed rats consistently. Ball Pythons are known for occasionally skipping meals, especially if their enclosure isn't set up correctly. Keeping the right humidity and temperatures can make a big difference in their health and feeding habits.
 
🟢 Quick Care Tips:
• Adult size: 3–5 feet
• Lifespan: 30+ years
• Enclosure: At least 4' x 2' x 2'
• Warm side: 86–90°F
• Cool side: 72–80°F
• Humidity: 45–75% with a humid hide available
• Diet: Frozen/thawed rodents every 10–14 days
