Naruto the Albino Red Oscar

Naruto came to J&R Aquatic Animal Rescue on 10/18/25 at the Exotic Pet Surrender Event in Milwaukee because their owner—who originally received them from a friend—needed a much larger tank than they could provide.
 
Naruto is approximately 3 years old and absolutely loves eating crickets! Like most oscars, Naruto has a big personality, expressive behavior, and a spirited appetite.
 
Oscars require a very large aquarium, strong filtration, and plenty of enrichment. They are intelligent, interactive fish that often recognize their keepers and enjoy watching activity around their tank.
