Peppermint Shrimp

🦐🌊 Peppermint Shrimp (Saltwater) 🌊🦐

These Peppermint Shrimp are ready to join a healthy saltwater aquarium! Known for their bright red stripes and helpful habits, Peppermint Shrimp are popular members of reef tanks.

They are best known for sometimes eating Aiptasia, a pest anemone that can take over saltwater tanks. While not every shrimp will target Aiptasia, many hobbyists use them as part of their cleanup crew.

🟒 Quick Care Tips:
β€’ Adult size: 1.5–2 inches
β€’ Tank size: 10+ gallons (larger is better)
β€’ Temperature: 72–78Β°F
β€’ Salinity: 1.023–1.025
β€’ Diet: Scavengers β€” eat leftover food, pellets, and meaty frozen foods
β€’ Reef safe: Generally yes

Peppermint Shrimp do best in stable tanks with good water quality. They are peaceful and can live with most reef-safe fish.

If your reef tank needs a helpful little cleaner with personality, Peppermint Shrimp may be the perfect addition. πŸ’š
