Poe came to J&R Aquatic Animal Rescue after being rescued from a neglect situation. She was kept improperly for many years, which caused her shell to become deformed.
 
Because of this, Poe has trouble swimming and basking. She needs a specialized setup with shallow water, easy access to resting spots, and a calm environment so she can live a peaceful, comfortable life.
 
Poe is a gentle turtle who deserves patience, understanding, and a home that can meet her special needs.
