S’more the Kenyan Sand Boa 🐍
 
S’more came to J&R Aquatic Animal Rescue on 3/28/26 at the Exotic Pet Surrender Event in Green Lake, Wisconsin because their owner, who originally got them at an expo, no longer had time to care for them.
 
S’more is about 2 years old and is doing well eating frozen/thawed mice. Kenyan sand boas are smaller, calm snakes that spend much of their time burrowed under substrate, popping up when they smell food or want to explore.
 
S’more has been with us for a while now and is still looking for a home where they can settle in for good. These snakes do best with warm temperatures, secure hiding spots, and deep substrate for burrowing.
 
We would love to see S’more finally find a stable, caring home with someone ready for the long-term commitment reptiles need.
