Stella came to J&R Aquatic Animal Rescue on 1/2/26 after her owner could no longer care for her. She is about 3 feet long and is eating frozen/thawed small rats with no issues.
Stella is calm, quiet, and easy to care for. Ball pythons are known for being gentle snakes. They like to curl up in secure hides and feel safest in a calm home. With proper care, they can live for many years.
 
🟢 Quick Care Tips:
• Adult size: 3–5 feet
• Lifespan: 30+ years
• Enclosure: At least 4 feet long
• Warm side: 86–90°F
• Cool side: 72–80°F
• Humidity: 45–75%
• Feed every 10–14 days
 
Ball pythons need steady heat, proper humidity, and clean water at all times. They are a long-term commitment and deserve a stable home.
