Sweet Pea came to J&R Aquatic Animal Rescue on September 20, 2025, after their previous owner—who had received them from a friend—could no longer keep them. This beautiful Fancy Ball Python is calm, healthy, and ready to find a forever home where they can curl up, explore, and thrive. 🌿✨

📏 Adult Size: 3–5 feet (females often larger)
📅 Lifespan: 30+ years
💤 Temperament: Shy but gentle—excellent for beginner and intermediate reptile keepers
🏠 Enclosure Size: Minimum 4’L x 2’W x 2’H (120 gallons)
🌡️ Temps:
– Basking surface: 95–104°F
– Warm hide: 86–90°F
– Cool side: 72–80°F
💧 Humidity: 45–75% (higher during shedding)
💡 Lighting: Not required but low-level UVB (Arcadia Forest 6% or Zoo Med Reptisun 5.0 T5 HO) is beneficial
🛏️ Substrate: Moisture-retentive soil mix (Reptisoil, Eco Earth, or a soil/sand blend) topped with leaf litter
🌿 Décor: Provide multiple hides, branches, cork bark, and plants for enrichment and security

– Frozen/thawed or prekilled rodents
