Toad the African Sideneck Turtle

Toad came to J&R Aquatic Animal Rescue after his owner obtained him through Facebook and did not have a permanent plan in place to provide long-term care.
 
African sideneck turtles are engaging, hardy aquatic turtles that require a spacious, well-filtered aquatic setup with proper heating, UVB lighting, and a basking area. Toad enjoys swimming, exploring his environment, and settling into a routine.
 
Toad is looking for a committed home that understands the long-term needs of aquatic turtles and can provide him with a stable, permanent setup.
