Whiskers the Syrian Hamster 🐹

Whiskers came to J&R Aquatic Animal Rescue on 4/4/26 because her owner was afraid of her and could no longer provide the care she needed.
 
Whiskers has been with us for a while now and is still looking for a home. She needs a little work building trust, but she is not overly aggressive. With patience, gentle handling, and time to settle in, we believe she can continue making progress.
 
Like all Syrian hamsters, Whiskers does best in a spacious enclosure with deep bedding for burrowing, plenty of enrichment, and opportunities to explore. She enjoys having places to hide and a quiet environment where she can feel safe.
 
💚 No Adoption Fee
There is no adoption fee for Whiskers. Our goal is simply to find her a patient, caring home where she can feel secure and loved.
 
We would love to see Whiskers finally find the right person to give her the fresh start she deserves.
